This Privacy Policy shows how personal data is collected and used by House of Dogs
(cf. Section 18, first paragraph and section 19 of the Personal Data Act). and how we store, process and disclose sensitive information (cf. Section 9 of the Personal Data Act).
Processing of personal data from the websites houseofdogs.no.
House of Dogs is concerned with your privacy and has clear guidelines for what personal data we collect and how we store and use them. We comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding the processing of personal data.
House of dogs collects de-identified information about visitors to houseofdogs.no, houseofdogs.se and houseofdogs.eu. The purpose of this is to prepare statistics that we use to improve and further develop the website as well as to be able to target our marketing more precisely. Examples of what the statistics provide answers to are how many people visit different pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites the users come from and which browsers are used.
If you do not want cookies to be used, you can change your browser settings to block cookies from being downloaded or are asked if you want to download each cookie. Cookies that have been downloaded can be easily deleted.
We use Google Analytics to analyze visitor statistics collected on our websites as well as Facebook pixel for the collection of data for targeted marketing.
We also use Adform to optimize ads for targeted marketing.
Newsletter
House of dogs regularly sends out newsletters via email. In order for us to send you the newsletter, you must register by email address. The data processor for the newsletter is Mailchimp. The address you register is stored in a separate database that is not shared with others. When you cancel your subscription, your email address is deleted from the database.
Email and phone
House of dogs uses email and phone in its dialogue with its customers and other contacts. We delete messages that are no longer relevant, and at least every year we review and delete unnecessary content in the mailbox. Upon resignation, the email accounts are deleted, but some relevant emails may be transferred to colleagues.
